We are Didy and Emily Button, mother and daughter and we created the Lady Button jewellery business. Since October 2009 we have been designing and making kiln formed glass dichroic jewellery in our home based studio in Adelaide, South Australia.
Accessing the glass from around the world we design a range of unique jewellery and then fire the pieces in our kiln, a process that takes about 12 hours. Each piece is then inspected to ensure quality is maintained. To complete each glass piece it is mounted onto a variety jewellery findings using industrial glue that is able to bond glass to metal this process takes 48 hours to dry. We started off selling to friends and family, then moved to small craft markets, and now sell at expos, jewellery parties, galleries and shops!
